Accommodations for College Board and ACT

Accommodations for College Board and ACT tests require a separate process from test accommodations offered as part of a student’s IEP or Section 504 plan.  Test Accommodations for College Board and ACT tests are determined solely by the College Board and ACT testing services. Click here to learn more and to begin the process of requesting accommodations.

AP Test Advice:

  • Fill in AP answer sheets carefully and consistently at exam time. Especially important are name, date of birth, sex, mailing address, and email address.
  • Sign up now for a College Board account on the student AP score website. It's required to get scores. Some students may already have an account. Have them confirm this by signing in.
  • Remember your account username and password, and your  AP number (or student ID number if they provided it on their AP answer sheet).

ACT Test - Results info

  • Results for the ACT with Writing exam given on February 25th during the school day at Cy Creek will be mailed directly to the address provided by the examinee on the ACT answer document five to eight weeks after answer documents are received by ACT.
  • Once results are received, students will have the option of creating an online account with ACT.
  • If a student previously participated in ACT testing and already has an online account, he/she will need to work with ACT to merge the two accounts together.
    • Students who register independently for an ACT test often use a SSN as the student ID whereas tests administered during the school day use the local school ID as the student ID.  Since a student in this situation would have two different accounts, ACT will help merge them together.
  • Students were given the opportunity to send ACT scores from February 25th testing to colleges during the pre-administration process free of charge.  Scores can be sent to additional colleges for a fee.  The student should work directly with ACT after scores are received regarding this process.
  • Cy Creek does not receive copies of the score reports for students; we are unable to assist with questions regarding scores, setting up online accounts, or sending scores to additional colleges.  Any questions or concerns should be directed to ACT https://www.act.org/content/act/en/contact-act.html
